Adopt a Hero - HUMC will host a military dinner & adoption of service personnel this Thanks-giving.  We need families willing to open their homes to these heroes. If you are interested, please contact Lynn Sorey at 436-5694.

 

 

The Nurture Committee is beginning a card ministry to remember our military personnel, our college students away at school and also our nursing home residents.  If you know of someone who could benefit from this ministry, please turn in their name and address to the church office or call Carolyn Everton (406-1028).  Thank you.

HUMC AFTER SCHOOL DAYCARE PROGRAM: Coming Sept. 2, 2008, from 2:00-6:00 pm, for children K-5th grade!  Registration has begun and spaces are limited.  For more information, including employment opportunities, go to the Children's Ministry Table in the Welcome Center.

HUMM Scholarship: HUMM Scholarship Applications are due by April 30th.  The application forms are located on the Youth’s bulletin board.

Heart Haven: Need men volunteers to conduct weekly (Saturdays) maintenance at the Heart Havens "MacLeigh House" during the month of May.  Typical maintenance includes cutting the grass, trimming/edging, etc.  If you can volunteer for one of the days, please see/call Don Brewer (546-2192) or Glen Lester (482-9275) to be put on the schedule.
