There will be a Staff/Parish Committee
Meeting on Jan. 17th,
at 12:15 p.m. The Book of Discipline of
the UM Church mandates that the committee meet annually to review the clergy
leadership for our church. As a result
of this meeting, the committee must advise the Bishop via the District
Superintendent as to whether the congregation would be best served by the
Pastor serving another year or that a change in clergy leadership may best
benefit the church. The Staff/Parish
Committee will meet to consider this important decision in the life of the
church. You are welcome to contact any
of the members of the committee with input (praise and/or concern) you believe
would be beneficial in making a recommendation.

Invitation to John DVD Bible Study: John has a unique way of introducing us to Jesus. He invites each of us to take heed of the
signs (turning water into wine through raising the dead) that point to Jesus as
the Son of God. Prayerfully consider
joining us for this short term Disciple Bible Study. It will run 12 Wednesday nights from 7-9 pm
to study the entire gospel of John. We
will take 3 nights off during the study to accommodate the church calendar, so
please accept this Invitation to John. The sign-up sheet is in the
Talent Show to benefit the Laura Marie Etzell Scholarship Fund: Sunday, March 21st, 5

SPIRIT SONG
O let the Son of God enfold
you with His Spirit and His love. Let
Him fill your life and satisfy your soul.
O let Him have the things that hold you and His Spirit, like a dove,
will descend upon your life and make you whole.
Jesus, O Jesus, come and fill Your lambs.
Jesus, O Jesus, come and fill Your lambs.
O come and sing the song of
gladness as your hearts are filled with joy, lift your
hands in sweet surrender to His name. O give Him all your tears and sadness, give Him all your years
of pain, and you’ll enter into life in Jesus’ name.
Jesus, O Jesus, come and fill Your lambs.
Jesus, O Jesus, come and fill Your lambs.

Kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive
those who trespass against us. And lead
us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever. Amen
