The Welcome Class – (Longing for God)

We live in a world of constant change. Where is the steadfast Creator of the Universe in all of this upheaval? How can we see Him at work during the crisis of our lives? How can He love our enemies? Have we cheated Him out of the worship He deserves? The last 12 books of the Old Testament is a collection of short prophecies called the Minor Prophets. They address these and many more questions as Israel endures the Assyrian, Babylonian, and then Persian Empires' invasion.

We are a group of adults currently studying the Minor Prophets, by reading every verse and discussing what God’s word says to each of us. This allows for a personal understanding of the scriptures that we study. Each class member participates as God leads him or her; or one can simply sit listening to God’s word. We meet upstairs in the second to the last room on the left at 9:45 a.m. Sunday mornings.
