Generation Why Not Sunday School Class will begin a new Bible Study called, Becoming Money Smart by Max Lucado.  We will open God's Word to share enduring wisdom about money management.  Topics will include our attitudes about money, dealing with debt, and learning to give. Have you gotten your flu shot yet?  On Sunday, Oct. 24th, flu shots will be given at Hickory UMC from 9 am to 11 am in the Welcome Center.  Flu shots will be FREE for everyone.  Children, if they have never had a flu shot, will need to have a second flu shot within a month.  If you would like to receive a shot, please sign up on the sheet in the Welcome Center.

Bible Sunday-Nov. 21st.  Hickory Church will be presenting a Bible to all 3rd graders associated with the church.  Parents should call/email the church office to give their child’s full name (please give correct spelling), as it should appear in the Bible.  Children older than 3rd grade, who have never received a Bible, May also receive a Bible on this Sunday.  Please turn in all names by Nov. 7th.

Bag of Groceries Sunday-Nov. 14th.  You are asked to bring a bag of non-perishable groceries for the needy on this special Sunday.  Upon entering the sanctuary for worship, please take your bag to the altar rail.  We will dedicate the bags to be used for missions at each service.
